Migrate from Intercom
Leave Intercom. Keep every conversation.
Halo imports your conversations, tickets, contacts, companies, and help center from Intercom with read-only access, learns from all of it, and keeps Intercom in sync until you flip the switch. Live in days, not quarters.

What moves over
Everything your team built in Intercom comes with you.
Conversations, tickets, contacts, companies, notes, and help center articles. Halo imports it all, learns from it, and puts it to work from the first reply.
Based on 23 resolved Intercom conversations since 2023:
- 1.Stale IdP session · 19 of 23 · clear the IdP cookie, re-issue the SAML assertion
- 2.Okta group mapping · 4 of 23 · groups renamed, fixed in LIN-412
Years of conversations become training data
Every Intercom conversation and ticket is imported, including the ones Fin resolved. Halo learns how your team actually answers, then cites that history when it replies to customers or when your team asks.

Why teams switch
Switching shouldn't mean starting over.
Teams leave Intercom for an agent that resolves tickets on its own. They stay because nothing they built had to be rebuilt.
Zero-downtime migration
Switch without a gap in support coverage. The AI handles tickets from day one, backed by your entire conversation history.
Zero data loss
Conversations, tickets, contacts, companies, notes, and help center articles all come over. Nothing gets left behind in Intercom.
Run both during the transition
Keep Intercom and Halo side by side. New Intercom conversations mirror into Halo until you are ready to fully transition.
Your help center, upgraded
Intercom articles become the foundation for Halo's self-improving help center, which fills gaps from real conversations.
Insight from years of history
Ask AI across every imported conversation to surface recurring issues, trends, and resolution patterns a human review would miss.
Read-only and reversible
Halo only reads from Intercom. Nothing is modified or deleted on the Intercom side, so you can take the move at your own pace.
FAQ
Questions teams ask before they switch.
What access does Halo need to my Intercom workspace?
A read-only Intercom access token for your region (US, EU, or AU). Halo uses it to read conversations, tickets, contacts, companies, and contact notes, and stores it encrypted. Once your migration is done, you can revoke it.
Will anything in Intercom be changed or deleted?
No. The migration only reads from Intercom. Your Intercom workspace, conversations, and contacts stay exactly as they are, so you can keep it running for as long as you want and turn it off on your own schedule.
Can we keep using Intercom while we move?
Yes. Keep Intercom in sync during cutover and new Intercom conversations mirror into the Halo inbox next to chat and email. Run both in parallel until your team is comfortable, then switch the sync off.
How do our help center articles come over?
Import them with your Intercom access token or by pointing Halo at your public help center URL. Articles are organized into collections, internal links are rewritten, and they are ready to review and publish on Halo's help center.
